You may have heard of the traditional ways to support our Veterans, such as volunteering, donating your time and money, and sharing resources.
These are all excellent ways to thank Veterans for their sacrifices, but many of us feel like we could be doing something more.
For people with an unused or old car sitting on your property, our vehicle donation program may be just what you— and our Veterans— have been looking for.

Even if your vehicle doesn’t run, donated vehicles help to raise funds for those who truly need and deserve it.
Our vehicle donation program is open to donations from anywhere in the United States, including Alaska and Hawaii. As well as knowing you’re supporting Veterans, one of the other best benefits is that it’s at no cost to you.
You’ll also receive a donation receipt directly for a tax deduction. Donating is easy, pickup is free, and best of all, you’ll be making a difference where it’s needed most.

About Donating Your Vehicle for Veterans
We happily accept cars, trucks, motorcycles, ATVs, motorhomes, trailers, boats, RVs, campers, farm equipment, and many other types of vehicles. To find out if your vehicle can be accepted, please complete our secure online vehicle donation form or call us during regular hours of operation.
You certainly can! Donation is available in all 50 states, including Alaska, Hawaii, and the District of Columbia. In Alaska, we service the Fairbanks and Anchorage areas with a 50-mile service radius. In Hawaii, we service the island of Oahu and the island of Hawaii.
All donations are of no cost to the donor. All expenses are deducted from the gross sales price, and if the costs ever exceed the price, these costs are covered by CARS (Charitable Adult Rides and Services).
To donate your car you’ll need to provide a current and clear title. Any lien holder listed on the title must be cleared and/or released by the bank. This law varies by state.
We pick up your donated vehicle for free! Simply schedule a convenient pickup time at a location that works well for you, whether that’s your home, office, or repair shop. Provide your signed title, and you’ll receive a donation receipt in return.
You can donate a vehicle that doesn’t run or hasn’t been used in a long time. If you need your donated vehicle to be towed, this can be arranged free of charge as well.
In most cases, cars are sold through an auction facility. We carefully evaluate each vehicle to find the best buyers and ensure maximum returns. For specialty or high-end vehicles, these are evaluated individually and sold for the highest market value.
When your vehicle sells, you will receive the IRS 1098-C form within 30 days. This contains a statement including the date it was sold and the gross proceeds received from the sale. You will need to include this form in your tax return when you file it. If you need further assistance, please contact your tax professional for personalized advice.
